Isn’t
Coaching the same as counselling?
Coaching and counselling are quite different.
Coaching doesn’t focus on your past to find out
why you are where you are: it focuses on your current
life, your plans for the future and how you are going
to get there.

How
would a Coach differ from a careers advisor?
Generally, a careers advisor will look at your work
experience and skills relating to previous roles and
advise you of career paths associated to your previous
experience. As Life Coaches we start with a clean page,
helping you to explore what you really want your working
life to be, what excites you and motivates you. Together
we determine a career path that will really excite you.

What
if I don’t know what I want to do with my life?
It’s very common for our clients to know they
want to make changes but to not know specifically what
they want to achieve. We help our clients to see the
woods for the trees. It’s OK not to know exactly
what you want to achieve; we’ll help you work
that out.

I
have a very busy schedule. How will I be able to fit
in Coaching?
Whilst the session regularity is not prescriptive, a
usual commitment would involve 1 hour per week. Consider
the amount of time you spend pottering around or watching
TV and not achieving much. Your 1 hour commitment with
us could change your life. We offer lunchtime and evening
appointments to fit in with your lifestyle.

How
do I know that you specialise in my particular issue?
We specialise in assisting our clients in making life
changes. Our skill is in asking the right questions
that help you to understand what you want to achieve,
believe that you can achieve it and to understand how
your goal can be reached.

Will
I be tied into a long programme?
We don’t offer a ‘one size fits all’
programme. However, in order to achieve your goals,
a certain level of commitment is required from you.
At regular intervals we assess the need to continue
with Coaching with the decision ultimately being made
by you. We’d rather stop Coaching sooner than
planned than tie you into a long programme that you
don’t need. After all, you as a satisfied client
are our best advert!

Isn’t
Life Coaching expensive?
A Coaching session will cost you less than a night out
and do you a lot more good! It’s an incredibly
cost-effective way of dealing with the obstacles that
are holding you back in life. Coaching will help you
to get where you want to be … how much is that
worth?

Can’t
I do all of this myself?
We have no doubt you could, so why haven't you? The
Coaching relationship really does make a difference
to the speed at which you can move forward because we’re
completely focussed on what you want to achieve. We
help you to be aware of the range of options open to
you, and we will encourage and keep you motivated when
you start to waver.

If
I buy my friend a voucher, do I have to pay for an entire
programme?
We offer a range of vouchers, denominated in numbers
of Coaching sessions. You can choose to purchase as
few as 1 session with the recipient choosing whether
they wish to proceed with further sessions for themself.
The recipient is under no pressure to purchase further
sessions.
